A: We ask that you put it up on Vimeo, YouTube, etc. first so that our selection committee can review it. If you're selected for the next round, you will be notified by either email or singing telegram.

A: Unless you are a member of Sepultura, no. Creative Commons (CC) is a great place to start. Jamendo is a music site that uses Creative Commons, and we definitely recommend browsing Archive.org's list of CC licensed music (especially the 78's). Or why not check out up and coming bands on sites like Unsigned or Myspace and contact one's you would want to use to see if they would be interested in letting you use their music. A: If your film is chosen by our judges, you'll be sent an email which describes how to get us the desired uncompressed format. The reason we ask for this is because most 'save for web' exports from video editing software result in an often highly compressed format. These kinds of videos can have severe quality problems when projected on a large screen (and we'll be projecting your films on as big as we can get it). So that's why we ask for an uncompressed video. But don't worry, you'll be sent a full set of guidelines on how to do it if you are unsure.

A: Yes! You can win lots of stuff like fancy editing software and fun gadgets to make more movies with, and even a shiny new bike!
